Supercharged power with the engineering to harness it

The new Corvette Z06 is designed by Chevy engineers to share many of the same features and components found in the C7.R racing Corvette. These two cars are the most recent – and best – example of Chevrolet's drive to transfer performance-enhancing technologies and design elements back and forth between street and track versions of the Corvette. As such, the 2018 Corvette Z06 is the most advanced Corvette ever built. Engineering advancements surround the cockpit of this performance supercar. These include the magnesium frame structure supporting the available side-bolstered Competition Sport seat to the hi-tech Driver Mode Selector allowing you to fine-tune your supercar Corvette Z06 vehicle performance dynamics, crucial elements of performance such as Magnetic Selective Ride Control, Performance Traction Management (PTM and electronic Limited-Slip Differential (eLSD), to your liking with a simple twist of a knob.

Performance Data Recorder

Adding to the fun is the Performance Data Recorder (PDR), which allows you to record, analyze and even share video of your Corvette Z06 driving experience in four modes: Track, Sport, Touring and Performance. Using an innovative, HD camera module mounted to the windshield and working in conjuncture with its GPS and other technology features, the PDR captures important drive-time data such as driving statistics, date and time, audio and HD video – even speed, 0-60 acceleration times and g forces, depending on the mode selected. Once recorded, the drive time data can be played back on your computer or on the Corvette Z06’s console-mounted, 8-inch diagonal color HD screen.
